Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Financial Services
A leading financial services provider is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of credit risk, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements within the industry.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial strategy, planning, and risk management framework. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure alignment with IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 , focusing on credit risk modeling and expected credit losses (ECL) . Develop and maintain internal controls and governance structures . Optimize capital and liquidity management to support business growth. Lead financial audits and regulatory engagements . Provide strategic insights to the CEO and board on financial performance and risk exposure. Drive cost efficiency, operational improvements, and digital transformation within the finance function. Manage relationships with investors, regulators, and financial institutions . Minimum Requirements: CA(SA) or equivalent qualification . 10+ years of financial leadership experience in financial services. Proven expertise in IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 implementation.
