POSITION INFO:

CFO Role – SA & Namibia

This CFO position offers full financial ownership across 3–4 consolidated entities, partnering closely with the Board and executive leadership team. You will drive financial strategy, governance, cash flow management, and performance reporting in a fast-paced, operationally intensive business.

Key Responsibilities | CFO Job Description

Lead end-to-end financial management and reporting across multiple entities
Prepare and present board-level financial reports, insights, and analysis
Manage cash flow, debt facilities, credit control, and working capital
Oversee consolidations (3–4 entities) and statutory compliance
Drive financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management
Partner with operations on distribution, supply chain optimisation, and margin improvement
Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and risk management

Qualifications

CA(SA) – essential

Experience

10+ years post-articles experience
Proven experience in a CFO, Head of Finance, or Executive Finance role
Industry exposure to Logistics, Transport, Wholesale, FMCG, or Distribution
Strong consolidations, reporting, and cross-border finance experience

Core CFO Skills

Executive financial leadership and strategic finance
Advanced financial reporting, analysis, and cash management
Strong board reporting, stakeholder management, and decision-making ability
Deep understanding of supply chain finance and distribution economics
Confident, assertive leadership style suited to Exco and Board environments

Remuneration
