Key Performance Areas:

1. Strategy and Leadership - Lead conceptualisation, design, and implementation of the overall ATNS strategy aligned to the business needs, vision, and business strategy. Provide strategic vision and executive leadership for the execution of the strategy, critical projects, cross-functional teams, and sustaining initiatives in support of the strategic objective. Facilitate the execution of the strategy by working collaboratively with the other Executive members and ensure that the strategy is communicated and easily understood by all throughout the organisation. work with heads of departments to establisg goals and objectives and action plans that are aligned in meeting the needs of the Company.

2. Operationalise Strategy, Research, Development & Innovation - Lead conceptualisation, design and implementation of the Department’s operating model considering the business needs, benchmarked global, regional, national ATM concept plans in support of ATNS strategic objectives. Provide a Strategy, Research, Development, and Innovation thought leadership to ATNS aligned to the overall business strategy.

3. Enterprise Portfolio Programme Management - Lead conceptualisation, design and implementation of an Enterprise Portfolio Programme Management (PPM) Framework. Develop and manage a standardised approach to portfolio, programme and project management at a strategic leadership level.

4. Research & Innovation - Provide a Strategy, Research, Development, and Innovation thought leadership to ATNS aligned to the overall business strategy. Maintain an organization''s competitive position and profitability by developing and implementing innovative programs, policies, and procedures.

5. Development - Set direction for enhancing business competitiveness in the development of new products/ services. . Develop effective new ideas and innovative strategies for product development, marketing, branding, or business opportunities. Strategize with other interested stakeholders to transform general ideas into workable solutions.

6. Governance, Monitoring and Reporting - Develop and implement a robust governance framework for the Department. Continuously monitor and measure compliance of the team to all ATNS policies and procedures and relevant legislation.

7. Stakeholder Management - Build, maintain and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters level qualification preferably in Business Management or related fields.
• Formal Leadership and Business Management training as an added advantage

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic planning in a complex environment of which 7 years should have been at senior management level, and 3 years management experience.
