SUMMARY:

Currently recruiting for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on behalf of our client in the retail sector.
This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned technology executive with a strong track record in driving innovation, digital transformation, and managing large-scale tech operations within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Honours or Masters degree preferred)
10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 3 years at a senior management level.
Proven track record in managing enterprise IT systems, cybersecurity, and large-scale technology initiatives.
Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business functions.
Experience in FMCG (wholesale/retail) and service centre environments
Experience in Syspro 8, Syspro POS, Qlik Sense or Power BI, WMS and Time and Attendance systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing a technology strategy to drive the company's growth.
Leading the IT department in planning, implementing, and supporting the technology infrastructure.
Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals.
Analyzing business requirements to identify where they can integrate new technologies to enhance business processes.
Ensuring the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
