SUMMARY:
An international anti-human trafficking NGO solving some serious problems in Africa/Asia, requires a CTO in South Africa (Remote)

POSITION INFO:

Objectives of the company:

Fight anti-human traficking
Caring for orphaned and abandoned children

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the CTO includes leading and overseeing a small team of software developers responsible developing the following:

Custom data collection and analysis web application.
Database that would house and organize all our child records related
Task management system
A detailed project scope will be shared to suitable candidates for privacy reasons

With each of these projects, there is a signicant history of conversations that have led us in the direction that we are currently heading. The role of the CTO would not be to reimagine these tools, but to join the team and speak into the processes while learning from program leaders about the history and evolution of these tools.

Qualications:

Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant eld
8 years working in a technological role
5 years of managerial experience
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of assessing complex issues and nding systematic solutions
- Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts
- In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
- Hands on experience with complex project management
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail

Sal: 60k – 80k USD p/a
