SUMMARY:
Our lovely client, an international anti-human trafficking NGO requires a Chief Technology Officer in South Africa

POSITION INFO:
Objectives of the company:

Fight anti-human trafficking
Caring for orphaned and abandoned children

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the CTO includes leading and overseeing a small team of software developers responsible developing the following:

Custom data collection and analysis web application with Django web frameworks in combination with PostgreSQL and AngularJS
Database that would house and organize all our child records related
Task management system
A detailed project scope will be shared to suitable candidates for privacy reasons

Qualifications:

8 years working in a Software Developer/Architect role
5 years of managerial experience
Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of assessing complex issues and finding systematic solution
Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts
In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and development
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
Hands on experience with complex project management
Excellent organizational and time-management skill
Attention to detail

Sal: 60k – 80k USD p/a
