JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a CTO, he/she will be responsible for the technology infrastructure of a company. The ideal candidate will be in charge of a company’s information technology and computer systems with duties including assessing current processes, recommending software upgrades, and directing the executive team on the best processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties

Being responsible for the technology architecture of an organisation
Developing, tracking and controlling the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations
Running the team of IT engineers within the organisation
Using technology to improve on the products that the company has to offer
Assisting other departments in using technology effectively
Researching any new technologies that may potentially increase our company’s competitive advantage
Focussing technology on external customersLiaising and collaborating with suppliers of technical solutions to enhance product range and customer relations.
Ensuring that product architecture supports the priorities of the business
Monitoring web analytics and making recommendations that align with business goals
Building processes for data protection and quality assurance
Making executive decisions regarding our company’s technological needs
Working closely with Finance Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements
Developing and implementing all of our internal communication systems, including email and messaging
Studying information processing systems to evaluate the effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Planning and strategising to reduce costs and improve profits
Ensuring the company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations
Sharing technological visions, opportunities, and risks company-wide
Representing the company at conferences and networking events

Skills and Qualifications

Masters in Computer Science and Technology or other relevant qualifications
Strong leadership skills
A high standard of written and oral communication
Highly developed analytical skills
The ability to think critically
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven ability as a motivator
Experience of research
Relevant industry knowledge
An in-depth understanding of IT terminology
Client management experience
Managing and monitoring the server
Knowledge about the current platform
Experience in App publishing and maintenance
Staying on top of technology trends and developments
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
Problem solving aptitude
Managing technology budgets and time frames
Working closely with marketing and operations to define and enhancements
