Cisco Unified Communications Manager/ Senior Network Engineer

Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Cisco Unified Communications Manager/ Senior Network Engineer to join their team in Sandton. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with benefits and an excellent working environment.

As a Cisco Unified Communications Manager, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality support to the enterprise network and will work with our customers on networking infrastructure projects. You'll manage a team of engineers, liaising with other teams within the company such as product development or sales. You'll also help drive new products forward by researching and creating proposals for new features that would improve business processes.

Requirements

• Technical support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager is a mobile and wireless communications technology
• Collaborates with the customers to identify needs and problem resolution.
• Manages daily operations of the technical support and help desk functions.
• Creates and maintains customer-specific knowledge bases, providing technical support to internal customers.
• Experience in working on Cisco, Avaya etc. Collab products/Technologies.
• Experienced CCNP or equivalent with demonstrable experience within project implementation & support environment.
• Good experience in a technical support environment working with IPT products.
• Good understanding in drafting LLD, HLD & other project related documentation
• Knowledge on Call Manager, Unity Connection, IM & Presence.
• Knowledge on Voice gateways, FXO, FXS, E1, T1
• Knowledge on Voice protocols – SIP, MGCP, SCCP, H.323
• Knowledge on Telepresence codec, TMS, VCS-C & E
• Knowledge on UCCE, UCCX, Finesse, CAD
• Knowledge on Attendant console, CMS, WebEx, WebEx teams, PLM
• Knowledge on UCS, ESXi, CIMC.
• Participate in the Client's CAB meetings, perform impact analysis & good in submitting a change request including Test plan, Pre & Post implementation checks, rollback plan etc.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with an ability to explain complex concepts to the stake holders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking or related field required
• 4 - 5 years relevant experience
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Collaboration products/technologies.
