SUMMARY:
A client is on the hunt for a Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimising cost and performance, and ensuring high availability for our tech stack — all built on AWS. If you're passionate about operational excellence and want to work on solutions that directly impact safety and productivity in mining, then this is your opportunity.

POSITION INFO:
ð§± What You’ll Do:

Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure in AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, IAM, and RDS)
Automate deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation
Build secure environments with proper IAM roles, encryption, and compliance controls
Implement monitoring and alerting with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
Support hybrid connectivity with VPNs and on-site networking
Work closely with Dev and DevOps teams to deploy and support applications
Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery plans
Conduct root cause analysis and drive proactive solutions

â You Bring:

4–6 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer, Architect, or DevOps role
Strong AWS expertise and understanding of scalable, cost-effective cloud design
Infrastructure-as-Code mastery with Terraform/CloudFormation
Solid scripting skills (Python and Bash)
Experience with networking, security principles, and hybrid environments
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

â Bonus Points For:

Multi-cloud exposure (Azure and GCP)
Experience in industrial tech, mining, or remote deployments
Familiarity with SQL Server or container orchestration (Kubernetes and Docker)
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect)
