Commercial Executive - Logistics & Transport | Johannesburg Are you a commercially driven logistics professional who knows how to open doors, build relationships and turn opportunities into signed contracts? We're looking for an experienced Commercial Executive to drive new business across the South African and African logistics market . This is a high-impact, hands-on commercial role for someone with the network, credibility and commercial instinct to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue. What you'll be doing Identify and secure new business opportunities and contracts Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients Leverage your industry network to open doors and secure meetings Develop compelling proposals and commercial business cases Present solutions and negotiate with senior stakeholders Drive market intelligence and identify emerging opportunities Work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute commercial strategy Oversee implementation of new client solutions and ensure seamless service delivery Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for further growth We're looking for 10+ years' experience in sales, business development or commercial roles within logistics\/transport A proven track record of winning new clients and contracts An established network within the logistics\/transport sector Strong understanding of international logistics and market dynamics Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills The ability to develop and present compelling commercial business cases Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Transport or Supply Chain This is not a maintenance sales role .
