POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial and financial aspects of tenders, bids and customer proposals . Lead and support customer and contract negotiations from a commercial perspective. Analyse costing, margins, profitability and pricing to support commercially sound decisions. Work extensively with BOMs and product\/project costing . Analyse and manage P&L performance , identifying risks and opportunities. Review contractual terms and evaluate their financial and commercial implications. Partner with finance, sales, operations and other key stakeholders. Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to senior management. Identify opportunities to improve margins, profitability and commercial performance. Job Experience and Skills Required BCom degree or relevant higher qualification. Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial role . Strong combination of finance and commercial experience . Proven exposure to tender management . Strong customer-facing and contract negotiation experience . Solid understanding of costing and BOMs . Strong P&L management and profitability analysis experience. Experience within mining, engineering or construction . Commercially minded with strong analytical and negotiation capabilities. Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
