JOB SUMMARY:

A well-established manufacturer of plant nutrition products is seeking an experienced Commercial Financial Business Partner (Business Analyst) to be responsible for business analysis, budgeting and forecasting, business partnering, planning, financial modelling, variance analysis, and reporting with the aim to improve business operations and profit.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 6 years’ experience in accounting systems and general accounting will be required
Background in multi-currency is advantageous
Must be able to prioritize, multitask as well as work independently
The ability to maintain quality of work and at the same time meet multiple deadlines are important
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential
Must be a strong communicator coupled with the ability to maintain open communication with customers, internal employees and managers as needed

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Assisting and training finance and accounting team members on how to use systems which includes providing guidance to the team on existing tools.
Researching, implementing, and supporting new finance system implementation when necessary.
Assisting team members in solving problems relating to their tasks, which may relate to system implementation and production.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Assisting the financial manager to analyse, interpret and report on financial data.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Managing competing resources and priorities.
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
