A Commercial Financial Manager role is available in a Manufacturing business. This is an operational finance role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Commercial Financial Manager
Location: Johannesburg East
Industry experience required: Manufacturing, FMCG or Heavy Industry
Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant

Job & Company Description:
This Manufacturing business has an opportunity for a driven finance individual who has experience within a project based environment. This role is for an individual who enjoys operations. You will partner with the different lines of business to ensure that revenue and operating cost is reported in line with IFRS standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties of this role include providing costing and management accounting, including BOMs, inventory valuations, sales pricing, etc. Revenue recognition, cash flow management and regular review of project costs. Contribute to pricing and financial modelling efforts as necessary. Strategic reporting, in depth expense analysis, budgeting, controls and forecasting. Set clear goals and regular feedback to finance team. Provide strong commercial and financial advice on margin management, bid reviews and other operational issues as well as ensuring that the senior management team is appropriately communicated with on actual and forecast performance.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA)
5+ years post articles experience
Manufacturing, FMCG or Heavy industry exposure
BOMs
Knowledge of finance/commercial policies
Experience within a project based environment
Ability to recognize trends and analyze data to develop recommendations
