Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive Boksburg \/ East Rand, Gauteng ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is seeking an experienced and target-driven Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive to join its dealership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building strong customer relationships and managing the complete commercial vehicle sales process. This is a hands-on sales role requiring consistent prospecting, effective customer engagement, accurate sales administration and the ability to achieve demanding vehicle sales targets. Previous FUSO commercial vehicle sales experience is essential . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prospect and canvass for new commercial vehicle sales opportunities. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers. Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers. Understand customers’ operational and vehicle requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Prepare quotations, sales proposals and vehicle offers. Conduct professional follow-up calls and maintain regular contact with prospective customers. Arrange and facilitate vehicle demonstrations and test drives. Coordinate the evaluation of pre-owned vehicles where trade-ins are involved. Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales. Achieve agreed monthly vehicle sales and volume targets. Participate in promotional activities, dealership events and other sales initiatives. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales information. Complete all sales-related documentation and administration accurately and timeously. Ensure that each sale is managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to delivery. Deliver a professional customer experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Remain informed about the commercial vehicle market, competitor activity and customer trends. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 \/ Matric. A valid Code 14 \/ EC driver’s licence . At least three years’ sales experience within the motor industry . Proven FUSO commercial vehicle sales experience . Demonstrated experience in achieving commercial vehicle volume sales. Previous working experience with Kerridge and Autoline is essential . FUSO sales certification will be advantageous. A proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong commercial vehicle market knowledge and an established industry network will be advantageous. REMUNERATION A competitive, market-related remuneration package appropriate to the level and requirements of the role will be offered. The final remuneration package will be discussed with suitably qualified candidates and will depend on relevant experience. IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate is a target-driven commercial vehicle sales professional with proven FUSO sales experience and a strong record of achieving volume targets. They will be confident in prospecting for new business, building lasting customer relationships, negotiating and closing deals, while maintaining accurate sales administration. Experience using Kerridge and Autoline, together with strong commercial awareness and knowledge of the motor industry, is essential.
