SUMMARY:
An opportunity is available in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg for a Commercial and Compliance Specialist.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience
Relevant tertiary qualification – NQF level 6/7
Must have experience and knowledge (possible courses) on BBBEE, EE, OHS, Risk Assessments, ISO
Commitment to excellence, outstanding work ethic
Strong organizational skills with problem solving ability
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Deadline driven and willing to work under extreme pressure
Second language will be an advantage
Attention to details

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for renewal of cluster compliance documents
Monitor expiry dates of all compliance / DOL documents and complete relevant applications for existing and new documents
Assist with internal training for new and existing staff based on policies and procedures
Identify learning needs and employee competencies to fill key skill gaps
Assist with sourcing of learners / disabled learners for all entities under cluster
Train employees on general knowledge of BBBEE / OHS / EE and purpose
Develop and implement a wellness strategy for applicants / staff
Good understanding of BBBEE requirements and objectives
Assist in preparing company documentation for any verifications, inspections and audits
Adhere to company’s policies and procedures
Perform any other requests / assistance as directed by Management
Collect information and file suggestions regarding improvement in cluster compliance
Identify and report all risks and opportunities for continued improvement of entities / cluster
