SUMMARY:
DBN000241 – COMMERCIALISATION AGRIC MANAGER (Joburg/Nelspruit)

Purpose of the Job:
To transfer & commercialize laboratory-developed hyperaccumulator plant technology into a stable and scalable commercial agricultural field operation within the critical metals/mining industry.

Required Qualifications & Experience

B Sc Agric, B Com, or Business degree
At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in Commercial Agriculture
Exposure to multi-site or multi-country agric ops – a distinct advantage
Experience with non-crop, indigenous or wild plant production

1. Nursery & plant propagation operations
2. Maximising field production – yield and quality
3. Optimising Agronomy & Production practices
Working with non-crop or wild plant systems
Research – familiarity with trial result analysis & interpretation
Biotechnology -transfer & commercialisation
Agricultural Processing
Risk & Biosafety Management
Strategic direction

Remuneration:
Competitive, market-related but dependent upon skills and experience.
