SUMMARY:

This role sits at the centre of broker trust and financial accuracy. You will own commission processing endâtoâend, from calculation and reconciliation to broker communication. Insurance industry experience is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities:

Full preparation, processing, and reconciliation of broker commission payments

Issuing commission statements and remittance advice within fixed timeframes

Accurate setup and maintenance of brokers on Pastel Evolution

Preparation of CSV payment files for bank uploads

Firstâline ownership of broker queries with sameâday or nextâday turnaround

Active followâup of commission clawbacks and outstanding debit balances

Reconciliation and management of binder and outsource fees

Daily reconciliation of premium deposits and investment processing
Identifying inefficiencies and contributing practical improvements to finance processes

Requirements:

Matric or relevant finance qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ finance experience in an insurance commissions transactional environment

Strong to advanced Excel capability

Proven attention to detail and reconciliation discipline

Ability to work independently and take full accountability
