Communications and Media Liaison role available within Durban based Client.

Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills, being highly proficient in Outlook, Excel, and social media.
• Minimum of 65% for English HG in matric.
• Must have a drivers license and vehicle.
• Extremely organised
• Excellent office administration skills.
• A calm, professional and helpful disposition is necessary for this type of customer facing role.

Job description:

Communications:

• Efficiently and with attention-to-detail respond and manage all consumer helpline emails across 5 of our brands.
• Answer and assist consumers through our telephonic helpline for 5 of our brands.
• Upkeep the brand''s image on our Social Media platforms through the management of queries, complaints, compliments and comments of our 8 brands.
• Resolve consumer complaints and ensure that replacement products are sent off and the consumer is satisfied.
• Work closely with the quality team to resolve consumer complaints ensuring all processes are strictly follow promptly. Feedback to the quality team and assist with the information needed for the investigation. Monitors that replacement products are sent off and the consumer is satisfied.

Media liaison:

• Sponsorship
• Liaise with the Marketing Director and Brand Manager on sponsorship opportunities across 4 brands Send through suggested sponsorship plans and costings.
• Brief and monitor that stock is available, ordered and arrives in time.
• Source elements needed for sponsorship or hampers.
• Brief and monitor that hampers are put together as desired and in time.
• Blogger and Influential marketing
• Source bloggers to collaborate with on different campaigns across our brands.
• Connect and brief the blogger on the collaboration idea.
• Source, monitor and record all mentions and blogger activity across 6 brands.
• Update the team with reports on all our blogger activity.
• Putting together blogger parcel ideas and sourcing elements need to achieve the idea/look.
• Brief and monitor that blogger parcels are put together as desired.

• Print advertising:
• Source and connect with magazine’s editors to send through products suggests for possible features.
• Look out for beauty awards and enter products.
• Source rate cards and liaise with magazines on behalf of the brand manager/marketing manager.
• Liaise with Clicks on magazine feature each as competitions.
• Brief and monitor that stock is available, ordered and arrives in time for said competitions or features. Source elements needed to complete hampers and monitor that hampers are put together as desired and in time
