Component Engineer (Body) Kariega

SUMMARY:
Our client in Kariega in the Automotive industry is looking for a Component Engineer (Product Engineering) to join them.  Knowledge of both metal, automotive glass and rubber components.
German and / or Portuguese language knowledge or willingness to learn.
Willingness to travel.

Salary is R35 000 - R50 000 depending on experience and qualifications.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• National Diploma Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering or BSc Engineering
• 3 Years Supplier / Quality / Engineering experience with Automotive components (Development / Improvements / Problem solving)
• Release body department components and systems
• Resolution of design related problems on all locally manufactured platforms
• Keep accurate record of part level and software built in production (Bill of Materials)
• Coordination of testing and release of components and systems
• Initiate and drive cost savings on components into production
• Good technical problem solving ability
• Experience in driver assisting systems and e-connectivity
