SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Agent to lead the successful delivery of large-scale civil road construction projects.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Manage civil engineering construction projects from planning through to completion Oversee daily site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other stakeholders Monitor project progress, programmes, resources and costs Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications and contractual requirements Identify and resolve construction challenges and project risks Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and project stakeholders Drive projects through to successful completion and handover Skills & Experience: Minimum 5-10 years' experience in civil construction, with strong road construction experience Proven experience with COLTO\/COTO Class 1 and Class 2 road projects Experience managing 2-3 similar projects valued above R30 million Strong project management, leadership and site coordination skills Good knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and cost control Proficiency in Candy and\/or MS Project Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills Qualification: BTech or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, or BEng \/ BScEng in Civil Engineering SACPCMP and\/or ECSA registration Professional registration will be advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.
