POSITION INFO:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and optimising companies consumer marketing capability across the portfolio. Acting as the company''s consumer marketing specialist, this role partners with Brand Managers to build high-performing consumer strategies, optimise digital and traditional marketing channels, improve campaign performance, and drive marketing excellence through data, consumer insights and best practice. While Brand Managers remain fully accountable for the commercial success of their brands, the Consumer Marketing Manager provides the strategic guidance, performance optimisation and specialist expertise required to maximise consumer growth. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Consumer Marketing Excellence Develop consumer marketing frameworks, playbooks and best practices. Guide Brand Managers in developing high-impact consumer strategies. Ensure consistent execution of consumer marketing across all brands. Identify new consumer growth opportunities and emerging trends. Performance Marketing Lead and optimise consumer marketing performance across: Paid Media SEO & SEM Social Media Retail Medi Influencer Marketin CRM & Marketing Automation Website Performance Support Brand Managers by: Optimising campaigns Improving conversion Increasing ROAS Reducing acquisition costs Consumer Insights & Analytics Develop marketing dashboards and performance reporting. Analyse campaign effectiveness and consumer behaviour. Use data to identify optimisation opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to Brand Managers. Campaign Optimisation Partner with Brand Managers throughout campaign planning and execution by: Recommending the optimal channel mix Reviewing creative effectiveness Advising on consumer messaging Monitoring campaign performance Driving continuous optimisation Capability Development Coach and mentor Consumer Brand Managers. Build digital and consumer marketing capability across the team. Share new consumer marketing trends, technologies and best practices. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Agency & Partner Management Lead relationships with digital, media and consumer marketing agencies. Ensure agencies deliver against agreed KPIs. Improve marketing effectiveness through external partnerships. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with: Brand Managers Sales Commercial Medical Regulatory Finance to ensure consumer marketing strategies support overall business objectives EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Education Degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce. Digital Marketing certifications advantageous. Experience 5+ years'''''''' experience in consumer marketing. Proven experience driving digital and traditional marketing performance. Strong performance marketing and analytics capability. Experience coaching or leading marketing teams. FMCG, Consumer Health or OTC experience advantageous.
