JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a multinational packaging company seeks to employ a skilled, qualified and experienced candidate for a newly created role as a Continuous Improvement Lead/Engineer, at their busy operation in Paarl.

The requirement to understand the FMCG, packaging or labelling processing and production sector is essential.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering, coupled with 5+ years experience in developing, implementing and leading continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment, as well as understanding and interpreting statistical data and improving data accuracy
You will have proactive and successful experience in developing a strategic plan
Experience in transforming and improving Kaizen, as well as utilize LEAN MANUFACTURING and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste, drive safety, customer satisfaction, cost reduction and improve working capital, coupled with providing training to production staff.
You will have gained experience in driving BI to evaluate performance and reduce defects, as well as ensure projects are running smoothly and implemented correctly.
You will have exceptional attention to detail, be analytical, communicate effectively and be results driven
You will have contactable references, a clear criminal and credit record and it is to be noted that all qualifications and career history will be verified.
