SUMMARY:
A vacancy exists for a Contract Manager in the Mining Division based in Randfontein – Sibanye Cooke.

POSITION INFO:
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Security advise to clients;
Threat and Risk assessment;
Client liaison and professional client relationship;
Manpower Management;
Equipment Management;
Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints;
Ensure that contractual requirements are met at all times;
Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings;
Incident and investigation management;
Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code;
Health & Safety management;
Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved;
Ensure that all company SOP’s are followed;
Ensure BPC policies and procedures are followed at all times;
Ensure that training takes place as and when required;
After hour visits and standby duties;

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

PSIRA certification – Grade A
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
3 – 5 years’ experience in a management position and Mining environment;
Chrome/Platinum/Illegal Mining Experience;
Investigation/intelligence experience;
Relevant experience as an administrator;
Must be willing to undergo polygraph test;
The ability to communicate and present at all levels;
The ability to work under pressure;
Fleet management;
Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
Own transport and accommodation;
