POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity Step into a senior leadership role where your surfacing expertise directs major highway contracts smoothly. You will receive great operational backing, heavy equipment resources, and continuous opportunities to grow professionally. Your leadership will drive regional project delivery, protect business margins, and satisfy client expectations every time. Job Description Oversee multiple active asphalt surfacing, road milling, and rehabilitation contracts across the region. Guide and support Site Agents, surfacing supervisors, and paving teams to hit project deadlines. Coordinate supply programs with asphalt batch plants to maintain continuous paver laying speeds. Manage monthly payment certificates, contract variation claims, and project budgets under standard GCC contracts. Ensure paving operations strictly comply with COLTO, SANRAL, and road engineering quality standards. Allocate specialized pavers, milling machines, rollers, and transport fleets to maximize daily productivity. Maintain professional working relationships with consulting engineers, client representatives, and road authorities. What You Need to Apply BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Ten to fifteen years of civil road construction and asphalt surfacing project experience. At least five years of proven experience operating at Contracts Manager or Senior Site Agent level. Strong track record delivering major SANRAL, provincial, or municipal highway paving contracts. In-depth commercial understanding of GCC contracts, project costing, and variation claim management. Professional registration with any of SACPCMP (Pr CM) or ECSA (Pr Eng \/ Pr Tech Eng) is highly advantageous.
