Our client is looking for a Control Room Technician to join their dynamic team in Centurion.

Roles and Responsibilities
Job description
Control Room Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain our clients networks (Including wireless, fibre break-outs & VPN)
Maintain the integrity and operations of our clients CCTV Network
Assist the Control Room in daily operations as well as after hour emergency support
Must be able to support after hours and weekends for emergencies
Must be willing to travel and sleep away from home if expertise are required on site (Company will provide vehicle & S&T in such cases)

Technician Desired Experience & Qualification:
Matric or equivalent qualification.
Both fluent in Afrikaans & English.
CCTV -Specifically network cameras such as Hikvision & Dahua
Wireless Networks - Specifically Mikrotik & Ubiquiti
Advanced networking experience such as:
Routing
Firewall & Network Security
VLAN & VPN Setups - Experience in L2TP, PPPOE, OVPN & Wireguard advantageous
Drivers license. (Mandatory)

Further education
COMPTIA+ & CCNA or equivalent applicants will be considered over those without
Further training & courses completed in relevant IT, CCTV & Electronic fields will prove advantageous

Technician Package & Remuneration:
Performance to be reviewed on a 3 month, 6 month and 12 month basis to qualify for possible increases if starting on the basic R 12,000.00 remuneration.
