SUMMARY:
A conveyor manufacturing company is seeking a mechanical design engineer.

POSITION INFO:
A leading provider of material handling solutions, specializing in the design and manufacture of custom conveyor systems for a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Conveyor Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:

Design bespoke conveyor systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
Perform load calculations, structural analysis, and component selection
Create detailed manufacturing drawings and assembly instructions
Liaise with project managers, clients, and the production team to ensure design specifications are met
Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally with conveyors or material handling equipment
Proficiency in 3D CAD software
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drive components, and industrial automation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
