POSITION INFO:
Join a respected advisory business where you will gain hands-on exposure to the full transaction lifecycle, working alongside experienced dealmakers on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, financial due diligence and strategic advisory mandates. This role provides excellent client exposure, strong mentorship and the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded corporate finance professional. Key Responsibilities: Support mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory and financial due diligence engagements from inception through to completion. Conduct financial analysis, prepare databooks and identify key commercial and financial risks impacting transactions. Assist with the preparation of Information Memorandums, business plans, funding proposals and other transaction documentation. Perform company, industry and market research to identify acquisition targets, investors, buyers and strategic opportunities. Support project management across multiple live transactions while maintaining strong client relationships. Develop integrated financial models, funding models and investment appraisal models as your experience grows. Assist with deal origination initiatives, business development activities and maintaining a strong professional network. Work closely with senior stakeholders, legal advisors and other professional service providers throughout transaction processes. Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA), ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification. Minimum of 3 years' experience within audit, transaction services, corporate finance or a related advisory environment. Exposure to financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions or transaction advisory will be highly advantageous. Strong financial analysis and Excel skills, with an interest in developing advanced financial modelling capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders. Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
