Corporate Learning and Development Consultant – Financial Markets

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location:  Pretoria

Position Overview:

A leading financial services concern requires the services of an experienced Learning and Development Consultant from the Financial Services sector.

The main purpose of this position is to partner with various departments to identify skills needs in order to design and implement fit-for-purpose learning interventions for staff members and teams in the organisation.

This is in order to enhance the impact on business performance and to generate useable knowledge and research for central bank learning and development. 

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Master’s degree in Economics or Finance
• 8 ‒ 10 Years work experience in a specialist role in the area of market analysis
• Expert knowledge of domestic and international financial markets, especially money markets
• Conduct high-quality quantitative and qualitative research, analyses, and interpretation of the domestic and international financial markets
• People leadership experience – successful track record in managing and leading junior financial markets specialists
• Must be very familiar with Bloomberg and Reuters.

• An Honours’ degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Education, or an equivalent (NQF 8) qualification
• 5 – 8 Years’ instructional design and facilitation experience in academia or corporate learning
• 3 – 5 Years’ experience in an economics environment or a financial sector
