A leading textile manufacturing company in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is looking for a Cost & Management Accountant to join its Finance Team and play a key role in driving cost control, financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

This is more than a month end accounting position.
It's an opportunity to get close to the heart of a manufacturing operation, understand what drives costs, improve controls and contribute directly to the organisation's financial performance.

POSITION INFO:
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR You'll take ownership of key cost and management accounting activities, including: âï¸ Month-end processing & reconciliation âï¸ Cost analysis, reporting & variance investigations âï¸ Inventory management & control âï¸ Coordinating cycle counts & month-end stock counts âï¸ Setting up & maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) - Must have âï¸ Identifying and supporting cost-saving initiatives âï¸ Activity based costing & WIPS - Must have âï¸ Providing broader financial and accounting support to the organisation WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Qualification: ð¹ Bcom in Cost & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting or a related field Experience & Skills: ð¹ Manufacturing \/ costing experience must have ð¹ Experience with an ERP system - Sage X3, Syspro or Pastel ð¹ Strong Excel skills - Pivot Tables & advanced functions ð¹ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ð¹ Strong analytical and problem-solving ability ð¹ Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines ð¹ High level of integrity & confidentiality ð¹ Strong communication and interpersonal skills ð¹ Comfortable working with people across different levels and backgrounds ð¹ A true team player who is adaptable and hands-on If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
