An opportunity for a Cost Accountant.

POSITION INFO:
Join a proudly South African manufacturing business with over 20 years of industry excellence and a strong national footprint. This company is known for its quality-driven approach, stable operations, and commitment to continuous improvement across its production facilities. They are looking for a Cost Accountant who thrives in a manufacturing or production environment, with a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of costing and inventory management.

Duties:

Maintain and update accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Perform regular stock reconciliations and resolve variances
Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and savings
Support month-end closing and assist in reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to manufacturing

Education and Experience:

BCom Accounting Degree
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
2–3 years post-articles experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong knowledge of costing principles, stock control, and BOMs
