POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-driven number cruncher with a passion for turning data into strategic insights? Our client, a leading player in the mining and metals industry, is on the hunt for a dynamic Cost Accountant ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. As the Cost Accountant, based in the Western Cape Winelands area, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial decisions through accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Working closely with both finance and operations teams, your insights will directly influence strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze production costs, variances, and financial performance across mining operations
Develop and maintain standard cost models and reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitor inventory valuation and cost allocation

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in a related field required
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
5+ years within a similar role
Advanced Excel required
