POSITION INFO:
A well-established manufacturing organisation is looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join its finance team in Johannesburg East. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong costing experience who enjoys working closely with operations and wants to play a key role in driving profitability and efficiency. Our client is a reputable player within the manufacturing sector, operating in a fast-paced production environment where quality, efficiency and cost management are key to continued growth. As the Cost Accountant , you will be responsible for providing accurate costing information and financial insight to support operational and commercial decision-making. You will work closely with production and finance stakeholders to ensure costs are accurately captured, analysed and controlled. Key Responsibilities: Performing detailed product and manufacturing costing Maintaining and analysing Bills of Materials (BOMs) Analysing production costs and variances Monitoring manufacturing costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities Preparing costing reports and providing financial insights to management Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom degree in Finance, Accounting or related field CIMA studies in progress advantageous 4+ years' relevant experience Apply now!
