JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Company in Cape Town looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Cost Accountant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

World Class Manufacturing Company in Cape Town has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Senior Cost Accountant. You will be reporting to the Financial Manager and will liaise closely with the procurement and production departments in order to monitor & report on the relevant management accounts. This will include Material Variances, Contract prices, Cost of labour, Cost of projects, Forecast of BOM costs against actual costs, investigating variances, drawing up of relevant reports and providing monthly management reports to all departments. You will also be expected to implement new SOPâs where needed in order to prevent losses

Requirements:
Diploma/Degree - Cost & Management Accounting
Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience in a Manufacturing environment
In depth understanding of manufacturing/FMCG processes
Previous experience in working with Bill of Material (BOM), costing and variances
Working knowledge on SYSPRO
Advanced Excel skills
