POSITION INFO:
A leading organisation is seeking a Cost Controller to join its finance team in Johannesburg North. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with operational teams, providing valuable financial insights and ensuring effective inventory and cost management across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing costs, managing stock processes, identifying savings opportunities, and driving profitability through strong financial controls and operational support. Key Responsibilities: Manage stock control and inventory management processes. Conduct regular stock counts and investigate variances. Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure invoice accuracy. Analyse costing trends and profitability drivers. Prepare cost reports and variance analysis. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with financial controls and procurement procedures. Collaborate with operational teams to improve efficiencies and margins Job Experience and Skills Required: Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Cost Control, Stock Control, or a similar role. Hospitality, FMCG, Retail, Distribution, or Manufacturing experience advantageous. Strong stock management and costing experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP and inventory management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Apply now!
