SUMMARY:
A South African Subsidiary of a large Multi-National Petrochemical concern is looking for a Cost Optimization Controller within their Supply Chain division, with a passion for improvement.

POSITION INFO:

The key aspect of the Cost Optimization Controller will be the Management, communication, and facilitation of Performance within the Supply Chain, including Operations, S&OP, Planning, Logistics, Quality, HSE, Sales and Finance.
The position includes responsibility for the management of systems, resources, teams, committees, and any other necessary tools to execute business improvement activities.
Key Performance Indicators include:

Reporting on all Sales and Operations Planning Data to OPCO, Monitor and Report on Activity Based Costing (ABC), Operational budgets, Cost Centres Product Cost Books
Measure, Track and Report on Stock movements and Losses, Analyze and Report on Stock Movements and Losses
Measure and Optimize Production Outputs through Supply Chain Processes
Track and Report on Consignment Stock Movements and Variances
Manage Stock accuracy through Stock and Cycle Counts
Manage Raw Material availability and usage
Analyze and Report on Productivity Costing and Implement interventions

Responsibilities are not limited to the above and will include:

Tracking and Improvement of Performance
Strategy development

Qualifying Criteria:

BCom Accounting
Tertiary Qualification in Cost Accounting
Advanced MS Excel, Syspro
Further Qualifications in Six Sigma will be advantageous
