POSITION INFO:
What you'll be responsible for: Driving cost accounting and management accounting within a plant environment Preparing and managing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and analysing production costs Leading budgeting and forecasting processes Monitoring and analysing WIP (Work in Progress) and inventory Identifying cost variances, trends and opportunities for improvement Providing meaningful financial insights to operations and senior management Supporting improved cost control, efficiency and profitability Translating complex financial data into practical commercial decisions What you'll need: Relevant Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field 5+ years' experience in Cost \/ Management Accounting Strong experience within a manufacturing, production or plant environment Solid understanding of BOMs, WIP, budgeting and forecasting Strong analytical and commercial skills Ability to work closely with operations and non-financial stakeholders A hands-on, proactive approach - someone who isn't afraid to get into the detail!
