SUMMARY:
URGENT - Costing Manager role available for a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) in a JSE-Listed Manufacturing concern with a strong footprint across Africa (EE/AA)

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a JSE-Listed company with a strong footprint in Africa. They manufacture and distribute essential products and materials for their clients in various industry sectors. They are recruiting for a Costing Manager and as the title states; This role will be responsible for all things “Costing” related. The successful incumbent for this role will also be involved with Stock Controls & Valuations. This role will have 3 direct reports thus Management experience is preferred.

Duties include but aren’t limited to:

Cost & Pricing Estimates
Cost & Pricing Models
Cost of Sales
Variance Analysis
Transfer Pricing
Bill of Materials (BOMS)
Stock Valuations & Controls
Oversee Monthly Stock Take
Stock Gains & Losses
Labour Costs
Liaison with Procurement
Assistance with Management Reports

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified CA(SA) registered with SAICA
Min 4-6 years’ post article experience in a Costing-focused role
Must come from a production environment such as: Manufacturing, FMCG, Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining etc
Must come from a listed environment and exposure to African Country operations is highly beneficial
Must have staff management experience
