SUMMARY:
Based: Lusaka

Remuneration: US$5000 – US$6000 net (company pays tax), Company Car, Fuel, Incentive, Housing, flight back to South Africa once a year)
Country Manager based in Lusaka, Zambia is urgently required for one of South Africa’s leading Automotive Groups with a footprint in Africa. Minimum 2-year contract.

Purpose of the job:
The successful candidate for this position will be someone with automotive experience, who has experience in growing a company’s products as well as running the business. They will understand all divisions of a dealership (HR, Accounts & Finance, Vehicle Sales, Parts, Aftersales, Service, Customer Relations and Logistics). They will have a good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash flow statements. The Managing Director will be responsible for managing the full facility to the company’s policies and procedures.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Manage the company's daily operations
Formulate the company's development strategy, be responsible for the company's short-term and long-term company decisions and strategies
Supervise and control the entire implementation process, be responsible for business results, organize the implementation of financial budget plans, etc
Formulate annual performance goals and business development strategy plans, overall marketing planning plans, and achieve business management goals with the elected heads of these divisions
Tracking market development and adjusting strategies
The establishment and improvement of company business strategies, operating rules, policies

Requirements:

Professional experience: more than 10 years of work experience, including more than 5 years of operation and management experience in automotive industry
Rich customer relationship establishment and maintenance capabilities
Strong communication and coordination ability, planning ability and execution ability
Strong ability to withstand pressure; strong subjective initiative, daring to innovate and break through
Strong understanding of the African automotive markets and business practices
Full and Strong knowledge in successfully running an entire automotive dealership
