JOB SUMMARY:
FMCG/Manufacturing Head Office, has an opening for a Credit Controller (FMCG) to join their team. Report directly to the Assistant Credit Manager. Position will be based in Isando.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position requires a completed Matric (Grade 12), with a Credit Management qualification, coupled with 5 years FMCG collections experience. Experience in managing a debtors book of R60m+ with 100+ FMCG accounts essential. KPI's include: carrying out, tracing and collection of debts, maintain the debtors ledger to ensure that all income due is received and accurately accounted for; ensure that the existing overdue debtors balances is reduced to defined targets; ensure all cash accounts are paid in time and cleared; assess risk for daily orders; review excess reports for ageing; resolve queries with customers, client representatives and branches; proposals and analytical credit vetting for new accounts and annual reviews within the SLA turnaround time; customer account recons; download monthly age analysis report; adhere to Credit Company Policy; complete and prepare journals; process journals; place overdue accounts on hold and release when paid; ensure default letters are completed timeously (Section 129); ensure Article 57 is completed correctly; administer processing of daily payments from bank account and prepare documentation to handover accounts. Solid Excel and SAP essential.
