SUMMARY:
Credit Risk Analyst

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose

To visit clients at least annually to audit their systems and processes to give the organisation confidence in the reports received from the client and their compliance with the organisation’s mandate.

Key Performance Areas

Conduct client audits annually and audit their systems to ensure that they can produce reliable information
Verify client compliance with applicable legislation
Verify client delivery on the organisation’s mandate
Report on outcomes with recommendation where required
Monitoring and Reporting on the portfolio

Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements

BCom Degree or Diploma or similar Financial related qualification
Alternatively, at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience

3 – 5 years’ experience in the credit, property or financial sector

Competencies

Report writing skills
Knowledge of the credit /lending environment
Knowledge of housing related information
Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
Report writing skills
Credit management/portfolio management skills
Ability to perform due diligence /client reviews
Computer Literacy
Ability to analyse credit data to determine degree of risk involved in extending credit using pivot tables
Ability to manage portfolio risk
Ability to monitor compliance
Ability to produce monthly reports as input into division reports
