Cross Trade and Road Freight Controller (Africa)

POSITION INFO:
My client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Cross Trade and Road Freight Controller Ensure that all cross trade and road freight shipments into Africa are arranged, coordinated and delivered as required, in full compliance with customs and regulatory requirements across African trade lanes Arrange cross trade and road freight shipments across African trade lanes (including SADC, COMESA and East Africa routes), covering imports, exports and in-transit\/bonded cargo Compile accurate freight, transit and cross-border cost estimates for road freight and cross trade movements Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification. Minimum 5 years in international freight forwarding with a focus on Africa trade lanes Demonstrate experience managing road freight and cross trade logistics, including cross-border and multi-country transit shipments. Solid understanding of customs, border-post procedures and compliance requirements for various African countries. Strong network of relationships with road freight transporters, cross trade agents and border clearing agents across Africa.
