SUMMARY:
Seasoned DC manager required for very large concern

POSITION INFO:

We are recruiting for a seasoned Distribution Centre manager.

You will be responsible for the full function of managing a very large Distribution Centre. Obvious duties will include implementation of new processes to streamline the DC and to make it more cost effective.

The fact that you will overseeing a staff compliment of anything between 600 – 800 warehouse staff, will make you ultimately responsible for all the aspects within the warehouse.

The bar for this job is very high and we will only consider exceptional applications:

A relevant DEGREE
A minimum of 7 year plus experience working and being responsible for a DC
Solid managerial experience and more particular, managing at least 400 plus staff members
Experience working in a warehouse of at least 20 000 sqm
Fine picking/smalls experience
ERP systems knowledge
Experience in working with budgets and cost analysis.
