Job Description

As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:

Dealings with the clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns promptly.
Management of the site, including supervision of daily operations, coordination of trades and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assistance for the Contracts Manager where required, including support with procurement, contract administration, and progress reporting.
Monitoring project timelines, budget adherence, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery.
Liaising with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design or construction issues efficiently.

Qualifications

BSc/ BTech / Diploma
Registered with SACPCMP

Skills

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and materials
Project scheduling and budget control
Site supervision and subcontractor coordination
Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
Contract management and procurement
Health & safety compliance
Client communication and stakeholder coordination
Accurate reporting and documentation
Proficiency in construction software
