Job Title: Data Analyst / Data Scientist – Retail Analytics

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end predictive models tailored to retail operations, customer behavior, inventory optimization, pricing, and promotions.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, buying, etc.) to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
• Continuously monitor model performance and refine algorithms to improve accuracy and relevance.
• Use tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Power BI to create dashboards, reports, and models that drive business performance.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, ideally in a retail or consumer-focused environment.
• Strong model-building experience – Regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, or recommendation systems.
• Proficient in Python or R, with practical experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in an office-based, collaborative setting.

• Experience with retail loyalty data, point-of-sale systems, or e-commerce analytics.
• Exposure to cloud-based tools or platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• Knowledge of A/B testing and marketing analytics.
