About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Data Analyst who enjoys transforming complex data into commercially valuable insights.
 
The role provides end-to-end commercial and operational analytical support by extracting, analysing, interpreting and presenting data that improves business performance, profitability, customer experience and operational efficiency.
 
Working closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Operations, you will analyse customer behaviour, campaign performance and key revenue metrics including registrations, First Time Depositors (FTDs), deposits, wagering turnover, Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), Net Gaming Revenue (NGR), customer retention and behavioural trends.
 
Unlike a traditional reporting role, this position requires someone who can independently extract data, interrogate trends, identify root causes and provide actionable commercial recommendations. Rather than simply reporting what has happened, you will explain why it happened and identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention and profitability.
 
You will also develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and executive reporting that provide real-time visibility into business performance and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Commercial & Operational Analytics Analyse business performance across operational and commercial metrics to identify trends, risks, opportunities and profitability improvements. Independently extract, manipulate and analyse data using SQL and Business Intelligence tools. Analyse key performance indicators including: Customer Registrations First Time Depositors (FTDs) Deposits and Withdrawals Wagering Turnover Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) Sportsbook Performance Casino Performance Customer Activity and Behaviour Customer Retention Marketing Campaign Performance Investigate changes in business performance and identify the underlying drivers impacting commercial results. Provide commercially focused recommendations that improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention and profitability. Business Performance Reporting & Dashboard Development Develop insightful, accurate and commercially meaningful reporting that supports strategic decision-making. Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for executive and operational stakeholders. Produce daily, weekly and monthly business performance reports. Conduct month-on-month and year-on-year variance analysis. Develop live operational dashboards displaying key business metrics. Automate reporting processes where possible to improve business efficiency. Translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights and recommendations. Customer & Marketing Analytics Partner closely with Marketing to measure campaign effectiveness across the customer lifecycle. Analyse customer acquisition, conversion and retention performance. Track campaign performance from customer acquisition through to customer lifetime value. Evaluate conversion funnels and identify opportunities to improve campaign ROI. Analyse payment success rates and customer transactional behaviour. Provide recommendations that improve customer engagement and long-term profitability. Business Intelligence & Decision Support Build analytical models that support strategic business decisions. Present analytical findings to senior stakeholders across the business. Support commercial, marketing and operational teams through data-driven decision making. Continuously improve reporting capability and dashboard functionality. Ensure the integrity, quality and accessibility of business data. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or Senior Data Analyst. Experience within the online betting, sportsbook, gaming or casino industry is essential. Advanced SQL skills with the ability to independently extract and analyse complex datasets. Advanced Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling and dashboard development. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong experience analysing large, high-volume transactional datasets. Proven ability to identify trends, investigate root causes and deliver commercially focused recommendations. Experience developing executive dashboards and KPI reporting. Strong understanding of customer acquisition, conversion, retention, customer behaviour and campaign analytics. Experience analysing commercial metrics including GGR, NGR, wagering turnover, deposits and customer performance. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
