Senior Compliance Analyst (Data & AI Compliance)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Communications Technology sector is looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst (Data & AI Compliance) on a contract duration of 6 months.

Role Purpose

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage operational compliance evidence across data platforms, analytics systems and AI\/ML environments. Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation, logs and control evidence are complete, accurate and accessible. Track compliance against internal data governance, privacy and Responsible AI policies. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure required controls (access control, lineage, masking, logging) are implemented and operational. Support data sharing approval workflows in line with enterprise Data Sharing and Monetisation policies. Monitor compliance adherence across pipelines, APIs, ML models and data products. Identify compliance gaps and work with engineering teams to implement corrective actions. Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit packs and responses to findings. Ensure traceability of data usage, model outputs and analytical insights across systems. Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Privacy Engineering, Platform Engineering and MLOps teams to ensure end-to-end compliance. Maintain compliance dashboards, reporting artefacts and operational risk registers. Support Responsible AI controls by providing evidence for model usage, monitoring and governance processes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Risk Management, Compliance, Data Management or a related field. 5-8 years' experience in compliance, data governance, risk management or audit-related roles. Strong understanding of data governance, privacy and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience working in data-driven or technology environments (analytics, cloud, AI or telecoms preferred). Familiarity with audit processes, control frameworks and evidence management. Understanding of data lineage, access control and information security principles. Experience working with cross-functional engineering and governance teams is advantageous. Certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CDMP or similar are beneficial.
