JOB SUMMARY:
One of our clients who is in the consulting industry is looking for a Data Analyst, Do you have experience in data management principles? Do you have Knowledge of back-end programming languages, specifically Python, R and SQL? You should apply for the role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description includes but not limited to:

Build a stable data management and analytics business that grows and employ more data Analytics.
Collaborate with business unit leaders and business process leaders to develop data solutions integrated into our outsourcing, IT and consulting solutions.
Grow new clients and farm existing clients that have analytics opportunities.
Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources (i.e., coordinate and facilitate end-to-end project management principles for data management and analytics projects).
Identify risks and provides solutions to ensure that projects are completed within specified timeframes.
Integrate into teams that are focusing on boosting Clients’ data management initiatives whilst being clear in the understanding and communication of the impact on people, processes, and technology stacks in order to support the execution of the Client’s strategy.
Providing expert guidance in the development and implementation of frameworks for databases, data collection systems, data analytics dashboards and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality to inform key business decisions.
Keep informed of best practice and technological developments in order to recognize improvement opportunities and articulate the potential benefits these could bring to the Scheme.
Analyzing, Interpreting and Managing data with current and planned data systems.
Contribute to the development of others less experienced within the team to ensure continuous upliftment of the performance of the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field.
7 – 10 years working experience in Core Competency areas below.
Deep level understanding and experience of data management principles preferably having worked in Banking, Insurance or Telecommunications sectors for at least 5 years.

Core Competencies, Attributes & Skills:

Experience designing, executing, and supporting Microsoft Azure Services, with understanding of Amazon Cloud Services and/or Google Cloud Platform cloud solutions a bonus.
Solution design and implementation; conceptual designs and integration of systems, Business intelligence, data analysis and reporting solutions.
Data engineering; data modelling, traditional ETL processes, big data, and other bespoke solutions.
Knowledge of back-end programming languages, specifically Python, R and SQL. Familiarity with Java or C++ is a bonus.
Use data-oriented approach to work with others in solving complex business problems around operational analysis and improvement.
Advanced knowledge and skillsets with Data mining techniques and procedures.
Understanding of Process Mining is a bonus.
Project Management: ability to work across a range of cross-functional projects to manager and deliver Data Management and Analytics solutions to Clients.

Technical Competencies

Knowledge of data management frameworks and ability to conduct pilots to realize quick wins.
Practical knowledge of data quality principles, data profiling and data quality tools. Ability to assess, design data quality approaches and processes.
Practical knowledge of master data and reference data.
Practical knowledge of data governance principles and the execution of data governance requirements.
Practical knowledge of integration methods, processes and tools. Ability to assess and design and execute data integration processes.
Practical knowledge of data privacy principles.
Strong knowledge of Analytical and Reporting Tools and their integration into the Data Management and Analytics landscape with a clear understanding of the best combination of tools based on company size, size of data sets and more.
