Data Manager - 10 month contract

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Data Manager for a 10 month fixed contract vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Masters or higher degree with experience in areas including statistics, economics, public policy, demography, epidemiology, informatics and research
• 5+ years implementing monitoring and evaluation activities, data management and analysis experience
• Development, strengthening and maintenance of M&E system
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
• Prior utilization of GIS system
• Training experience and provide technical support
• Experience in the use of mobile data collection applications desirable
• Fluency in English and any other SA African language

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Improve and maintain routing project data management systems
• Implementation of relevant electronic / databases, data quality assurance and compilation of regular data outputs and reports for management
• Managing programmatic data and provide quality assurance regarding data collection tools and methods
• Provide data management technical support
• Conduct training and provide technical assistance for data management
• Develop data management SOP’s

Salary:  Negotiable per month for contract duration
