General Manager – Food Services Industry

Location: East London

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join a dynamic team in the food services industry. The ideal candidate will have strong operational and leadership experience in food, retail, or wholesale environments, with a proven track record in managing teams, budgets, and business operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent; relevant post-graduate qualification preferred

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food service, warehouse & logistics, or retail environment

• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience

• Relevant computer experience, particularly Microsoft Excel

• Relevant food and wholesale experience

• Packaging experience will be an advantage

• Budget management and financial oversight

• Operations management and customer care

• Staff management and leadership development

• Health and safety compliance

• Administration and reporting
