Job description:

• Team leadership of Subject Matter Expert as well as Administrators within the Instrument/Asset Pricing, Corporate Actions and Static Data areas
• Understanding of the set-up of securities and portfolio’s as well as instrument valuation methodology and impact on downstream users
• Handle escalated queries efficiently to ensure resolution of both internal and external client queries (in conjunction with the Client Delivery team)
• Support data feeds and associated reporting
• Check of all prices within the Investment Management systems and regular maintenance thereof
• Ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk
• Supporting the management and co-ordination of team deliverables relating to projects and new client take-on’s
• Act as process mapping lead to ensure all processes are mapped, maintained and train all team members on department processes
• Identify and analyse risk areas and ensure robust processes are in place to mitigate risk
• Effective communication to all stakeholder
• Daily team management to create a positive vibe in the department
• Involved with Projects Team (IT) from Business perspective regarding Automation of processes and process improvements.
• Ensure a complete analysis is done if any changes is made to a current process and establish how it will affect downstream users and or clients both internal and external before any changes are implemented
